The short version: LifeVault AI helps you keep records of what you own and pay for. It is an organizer, not an advisor: nothing in the app is legal, tax, financial or insurance advice, and decisions you make from your records are yours. By using the app you agree to these terms.
These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and EverCore Digital (“we”, “us”), the developer of LifeVault AI (the “app”). By installing or using the app you accept them. If you don't agree, don't use the app. Our Privacy Policy explains how the app handles your data and forms part of these terms.
LifeVault AI stores an inventory of your belongings, receipts, warranties, vehicles, subscriptions, documents and reminders on your own device, and shows summaries and reminders derived from what you enter. It does not create an account for you, does not sync your data to us, and does not verify anything you enter. The accuracy of your records is your responsibility.
The app presents general information — for example warranty countdowns, spending summaries, insurance-report exports and tax-related guidance — to help you organize. It is provided for informational purposes only and is not legal, tax, accounting, financial or insurance advice, and does not create a professional relationship of any kind. Consult a qualified professional before acting on anything the app shows you, particularly for tax filings, insurance claims or legal matters.
The Taxes section is a record-keeping tool, not a tax service. It lets you tag your own records for a tax year and shows general information drawn from publicly available Internal Revenue Service publications about categories of expenses that are, or are not, typically deductible for people in the work situation you select.
Specifically:
Receipt scanning, item identification and the assistant are optional features that use artificial-intelligence models and are offered in early access. Their output can be incomplete or wrong — a misread price, a misidentified item, a mistaken answer — and you should check it before relying on it. Access requires an access token that we may issue, limit, suspend or withdraw at any time, and availability of these features is not guaranteed. What is sent to AI providers, and what is not, is described in the Privacy Policy.
Because your data lives only on your device, you are responsible for backing it up using the app's export feature. If you set a vault passcode and forget it, encrypted documents cannot be recovered by anyone, including us. Uninstalling the app or erasing its data permanently deletes your records.
Some features are part of LifeVault AI Pro, an auto-renewing subscription purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Billing, renewal and cancellation are handled by the store: the subscription renews at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends, and you can manage or cancel it in your store account settings. Refunds are subject to the store's policies. Prices are shown in the store before you purchase and may change with notice for future periods.
You agree to use the app only for lawful purposes and not to reverse-engineer, copy or resell it, interfere with its operation, or use the AI features to generate unlawful or abusive content or in ways that exceed the limits attached to your access token.
The app, its design and its content (other than the records you create) belong to EverCore Digital and its licensors. Your records remain yours. We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, subject to these terms and the terms of the store you obtained it from.
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that its summaries, exports or guidance will be accurate or suitable for any purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, EverCore Digital will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, tax benefits or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the app, even if advised of the possibility. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim arose. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
We may update the app and these terms. Changes will be posted at this address with a new effective date; continuing to use the app after that date means you accept them. If a change is material, we will make it noticeable in the app or the store listing.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas and the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Questions about these terms: email [email protected] or open an issue at github.com/sammy14258boss-tech.
